MAY | RunStrong Class · Weekly Event RUNSTRONG: A 60 minute circuit style strengthening class aimed at making you a better, less injured runner. It is held several times per week, and space is limited. During the class you will be strengthening all the major muscles needed for running, working on your balance, and building a strong “core”. No machines are used, your body and some minor props are all that is needed.

MAY | Zumba Class Tuesday, 6 PM - 7 PM · Weekly Event Join us for Zumba class! Zumba is a latin inspired dance-fitness class that is a ton of fun, not only is it a blast to participate in it is also a great workout! This class is affordable and everyone is invited, our instructor will make the class easy to follow for beginners and exciting for all Zumba levels. MAY | Moving Comfort Fit Fest Thursday, 4 PM - 8 PM 8 out of 10 women are wearing the wrong size bra! To help out Rhode Runner is holding its first ever Moving Comfort Fit Fest! The Fit Fest will take place on May 24th from 4pm-8pm. We will have our expert sports bra fitters Beth and Christine available to answer questions along with Natalie our Moving Comfort Sales Rep. We'll also have refreshments for all those who attend. In addition, all Moving Comfort sports bras will be 20% off for the evening! The fit fest is sure to be fun and it's a great time to stock up on the best selling sports bras in the country! |

MAY | Run for pALS 5k run/walk Sunday, 10 AM Join us at Seekonk High School for the 2nd annual race. The race benefits THE BLAZEMAN FOUNDATION for ALS. The foundation raises awareness and funds to help find a cure for ALS
The course has been certified and the race sanctioned by USATF. Cash Prize for overall male and female winners. |

JUN | Pilgrim Run for Remembrance This race is remembering Bella Dipalma and Elana Zuller, two girls from our school who were tragically killed in a car accident right before the start of school this year. 50% of the proceeds from the race will be going towards both girls Memorial Funds and my class of 2014 is keeping the other 50% to help with prom and senior activities. |
JUN | Shape Up RI 5k to benefit GOTRRI Saturday, 9 AM This event is a celebration of our girls accomplishments this season. To culminate their great season, they will be participating in the 5K (3.1 mile) walk/run event, supported and cheered on by their families, friends, and our community. The race IS open to the public and will also serve as a fundraiser for our program. All are welcome to join"men, women, and kids of all ages! |

JUN | A Race to Grow 5k Sunday, 9 AM A Place To Grow, Inc., a non-profit childcare center in Wakefield, RI, is organizing "A Race To Grow" 5K Road Race & 1 Mile Stroller Walk on Sunday, June 3rd, 2012. Race time is 9 a.m., with registration beginning at 7:30 a.m., and will start and finish at A Place To Grow, 12 High Street, Wakefield, RI. Cash awards to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K, medals to the top three male and female in age divisions: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. T-shirts will be given to all 5K participants who are pre-registered by June 1st, as available on race day. Ribbons will be given to all Stroller Walk participants. Online registration is available at www.active.com or entry forms can be picked up at A Place To Grow. Raffles and refreshments will follow the race. All proceeds will benefit A Place To Grow continue to provide quality childcare for all children of the community. |

JUN | Will Speck 5k WILL SPECK was a Providence College Graduate, 7th in the Boston Marathon in 1971, accomplished runner, advocate for the elderly, Chairman for CLCF (Cranston League for Cranston’s Future) youth track and cross country programs, coach for the Bay View track and cross country teams, and a truly compassionate, genuine, kind, and caring man. |

SEP | Friends of the Poor 5 mile Run/Walk Saturday, 9 AM The Friends of the Poor Walk/Run is a 3 mile walk and 5 mile U.S.A. Track & Field-Sanctioned and certified road race intended to rais awarness of (and funds for) the Rhode island society of Saint Vincent De Paul. 100% of the proceeds from fundraising will be spent providing emergency utility payments, food, clothing and shelter, along with one-on-one assistance to people in crisis so that they may create their own pathways to independence and success. |
